GDKO Round 2 Entry: Things Did Not Go Well
The idea is that aliens are invading and your artillery support is only able to push and rotate the invading ships. The aliens are drawn to spacial anomalies so you need to direct the pieces so you can reach the anomalies (stars) to close them, matching up openings so you can traverse the pieces. Filling in a line gives you a unimplemented bonus.
ALSO, pause (p/esc) will give the "world view" so you can see the stars.
Other unimplemented pending features include: winning/losing , any feedback at all, clarity on what's happening, cool jetpack vfx so it's obvious you're on a low gravity planet, enemies that are obviously enemies, pathfinding that works for all the enemies, any sort of pressure to make choosing between filling a line or reaching an anomaly meaningful.
Basically I figured this submission will help someone else make it to round 3.
